As a true car enthusiast, Miles has devoted his life to cars.  His knowledge, experience and passion falling across the board but his personal affection captivated by Porsche and German engineered brands.

He has owned and managed restoration and bodyshops, bringing him invaluable knowlege within every aspect of many different types of new and classic cars.  His experience of restoration and spraying means he can easily identify cars that have had all types of bodywork done.

His twenty five years within the industry include spending time trackside watching all types of racing and on the track perfecting his skills in his personal collection. In this time Miles has created an impressive portfolio of friends, collegues and contacts which have led to learning much more from European experts and, on a more glamourous level, yearly trips to Monaco for the Grand Prix where he advises photographers where and who to shoot and networking with drivers.

Miles was inspired to create his concept Car Source after experiencing many situations in his bodyshop.  He found he was dealing with clients who had bought cars from companies and were now having to fork out on expensive repairs and corrections due to cars being bought by salesmen who had little understanding, or knowledge, of car mechanics and quality of bodywork.

He researched the car sourcing market and realised it was a frightening area.  Many companies hired salesmen to sit on the phone calling dealer to dealer, buying cars they hadn't even seen.  It baffled Miles how people with no experiance of mechanics or bodywork of a car could reliably purchase one.  Their reliability was based on another person, probably equally as inexperienced, saying the car was sound.
